Indian Health Service Releases New Methamphetamine and Suicide Prevention Initiative Funding Opportunity Announcements

The Indian Health Service has released new Methamphetamine and Suicide Prevention Initiative (MSPI) funding opportunity announcements for MSPI Purpose Area 4: Generation Indigenous Support. Projects under this purpose area concentrate efforts on Native youth and families by focusing on promoting early intervention strategies and implementation of positive youth development programming to reduce risk factors for suicidal behavior and substance abuse. These funding opportunities are available to Tribes, Tribal organizations, urban Indian organizations, and IHS federal facilities. Applications are due August 1.
