Umatter® Suicide Prevention Awareness and Skills Training (SPAST)

Umatter® Suicide Prevention Awareness and Skills Training (SPAST) is a two hour training, offered both virtually or in person. It is intended for the general public to aid in suicide prevention efforts. It is a nonclinical training and was created as an upstream approach for suicide prevention so that all partipants can work towards decreasing the stigma of suicide and asking for help.

Peer Helpers PLUS is a two-tiered program by ThriveWay, LLC. Tier one is the Prevention and Awareness for Total Health (PATH) curriculum, and tier two is the Peer Helpers training (Peer Helpers). While this application is focused on Peer Helpers, many schools implement both tiers, and ThriveWay supports implementation of each tier with comprehensive training and materials for school and district leaders, teachers and staff, and program coordinators.

Soul Shop for Black Churches

It is developed and delivered by Black and African American faith leaders who are experts in suicide prevention. This workshop addresses complex issues specific to Black communities that contribute to rising suicide rates.

One Step Ahead: Preventing Suicide in the Workplace

Suicide Awareness Voices of Education (SAVE) developed the One Step Ahead program to provide employees with information about the basic facts of suicide. One Step Ahead is a free, online, self-led suicide prevention gatekeeper training that educates trainees on the fundamental aspects of suicide and demonstrates how to support someone who is suicidal.
