BPR Eligibility Requirements for Programs and Interventions

  • Be ready for others to implement (i.e., include adequate implementation materials and instructions)
  • Demonstrate alignment, as applicable, with one or more suicide prevention frameworks (i.e., National Strategy for Suicide Prevention, SPRC’s Comprehensive Approach to Suicide Prevention, National Action Alliance for Suicide Prevention’s Mental Health Media Guide)
  • Be able to demonstrate achievable, defined outcomes
  • Provide evidence of meeting minimum standards related to safety protocols and imminent risk

Office Hours

SPRC’s new Best Practices Registry (BPR) is seeking applications for programs and interventions that prevent suicide. Working on an application or considering it? Wherever you are in the process, we’re here to help!

The BPR Team is currently holding office hours to support you in completing your application. The team will offer guidance on preparing an application, walk you through examples, and answer your questions.

I-TAP

The BPR’s Intensive Technical Assistance Program (BPR I-TAP) is designed to help programs and interventions build their capacity for data evaluation, so they are better positioned to apply to the BPR.

To participate in this program, applicants must have data on three implementation cycles as well as a program website.
