Understanding History in American Indian and Alaska Native Communities

The National Center for Fatality Review and Prevention (National Center) has released a series of training modules on understanding history, building partnerships, and working with Tribal sovereignty in American Indian and Alaska Native communities. Part 1 describes the historical context for maternal, infant, and child health outcomes; part 2 outlines collaborative strategies for working with Tribal communities; and part 3 discusses Tribal sovereignty.
