SPRC seeks Senior Writer/Editor

SPRC has an opening for a Senior Writer/Editor on its Information Services Team, reporting to the Information Services Team manager, in Waltham.

The writer/editor will be responsible for identifying and writing/editing summaries of research, developments in the suicide prevention field, and news stories for SPRC’s weekly e-newsletter; managing SPRC’s social media presence; creating content for the SPRC website; and writing/editing as well as promoting and disseminating publications on special topics related to suicide prevention. Qualifications include: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of training and experience; 5–7 years related writing, editing, and project/supervisory experience, preferably in areas related to mental health, public health or suicide prevention; customer service orientation and ability to be responsive and helpful to SPRC’s staff and audience.
