Exploring Self-directed Violence among Sexual and Gender Minority Veterans

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Health Services Research and Development Service (HSR&D) is hosting a webinar on self-directed violence among sexual and gender minority veterans. The presentation will include (1) epidemiologic information and theoretical frameworks about disparities in suicide risk among sexual and gender minority populations, with specific attention to what is currently known among the U.S. veteran population; and (2) VA systems-level initiatives to ensure health equity for sexual and gender minority veterans. The webinar will take place on May 8 from 3 to 4 p.m. ET.
