The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Center for Mental Health Services (CMHS) is accepting applications for fiscal year 2017 cooperative agreements to implement the National Strategy for Suicide Prevention (NSSP). The purpose of this program is to support states in implementing the 2012 NSSP goals and objectives that are focused on preventing suicide and suicide attempts among adults age 25 and older in order to reduce the national suicide rate and number of suicides. Eligible applicants are state government agencies, including the District of Columbia and U.S. territories. Applications are due by April 17.
