RESPECT-Mil is a treatment model designed by the United States Department of Defenses’ Deployment Health Clinical Center (DHCC) to screen, assess and treat active duty Soldiers with depression and/or PTSD, modeled after a program that’s proven effective in treating civilian patients with depression. The program uses the Three Component Model (3CM) of care, coordinating of primary care providers, care facilitators and behavioral health specialists serving of soldiers with behavioral health needs. Manuals geared toward each componant and training are among the resources provided
