Preventing suicide: A resource for primary health care workers

This resource provides guidance for primary care providers to understand and respond to suicide among their patients.  It discusses the scope of the problem, behavioral health disorders, screening and assessment and risk and protective factors.

The booklet is part of a series addressed to specific social and professional groups that are particularly relevant to the prevention of suicide and released under the auspices of SUPRE, an IASP/WHO worldwide initiative for the prevention of suicide.
