This brief summarizes recommendations for policy improvements in a report generated through an examination of the scientific evidence behind early childhood mental health (I-ECMH) policies and interviews with key informants at the state and national levels to learn about barriers, successful strategies. Also includes profiles of six states where strategies they used to address some of the barriers to providing I ECMH.
