SPRC Launches New SPARK Talks

SPRC has launched two new SPARK Talks—Short, Provocative, Action-oriented, Realistic, and Knowledgeable videos of leaders in suicide prevention. Men in the Middle Years features psychiatrist Jeff Sung, who sheds light on a population with a suicide rate that is more than double the national average: men between the ages of 35 and 64. Reaching Older Adults features Jo Anne Sirey, professor at the Weil Cornell Medical College Department of Psychiatry, who stresses the importance of integrating mental health into aging services programs, such as senior centers.
