SAMHSA Invests in 988 Transition

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) has announced that it will invest $282 million to transition the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (Lifeline) from its current 10-digit number to 3-digit 988. SAMHSA is accepting applications for cooperative agreements for states and territories to build local 988 capacity until January 31.
