SAMHSA Awards Suicide Prevention Funding to 33 Colleges

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) has awarded $3.3 million in suicide prevention funding to 33 colleges and universities. The funding comes from the Garrett Lee Smith Campus Suicide Prevention grant program, which was recently expanded by the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021.
