Psychological autopsy certification training offered

The psychological autopsy has become a best practice postmortem procedure to reconstruct the proximate and distal causes of an individual’s death by suicide or to ascertain the most likely manner of death where this is equivocal. The American Association of Suicidology will offer a two-day, face-to-face training leading to certification as a psychological autopsy investigator. The training will be held from September 16-17 in Mercer Island, WA.
