New Report: Strengthening Our Future

SAMHSA has just released Strengthening Our Future: Key Elements to Developing a Trauma-Informed Juvenile Justice Diversion Program for Youth with Behavioral Health Conditions. Developed as part of the 2014–2015 Policy Academy Action Network Initiative, this report builds on SAMHSA’s concept of trauma and its framework for a trauma-informed approach to: 1) identify nine implementation domains for achieving a trauma-informed juvenile justice diversion program and 2) highlight case examples from each of the four 2014–2015 Policy Academy-Action Network states.
