National Institute of Mental Health Director’s Message

National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) Director Joshua Gordon has identified suicide prevention as a particular area of interest that he would like to prioritize during his tenure at the institute. In his December “Director’s Message,” Dr. Gordon discussed previous and ongoing efforts in the field of suicide prevention, including A Prioritized Research Agenda for Suicide Prevention produced by the National Action Alliance for Suicide Prevention.
