The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline has just announced the expanded and refreshed membership of the Lifeline Consumer/Survivor Subcommittee (CSS). Every three to four years, a proportion of the membership of the CSS is replaced to ensure that committee representation is aligned with changing grant goals, evolving priorities, and trends in suicide prevention and reflects SAMHSA’s suicide prevention priorities in reaching highest risk populations. There are now 28 members confirmed for the 2016-2018 CSS, including SPRC Prevention Specialist Smita Varia. The Lifeline website has now posted the complete list of CSS members and their bios.
