The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) has released 2017 data on the 10 leading causes of death in the U.S. by age, sex, race, and Hispanic origin. The data show that suicide was the tenth leading cause of death in 2017.
