International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day

Saturday, November 19 marks International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day, an occasion for people affected by suicide loss to gather together for healing and support. The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) will host events in communities around the world, including screenings of Life Journeys: Reclaiming Life after Loss, an AFSP-produced documentary that traces the journey that follows a suicide loss. Additional programming is specific to each event and may include presentations by loss survivors and mental health professionals, as well as small group discussions.
