Saturday, November 18 marks International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day, an occasion for people affected by suicide loss to gather together for healing and support. The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) will host gatherings in communities around the world to mark the observance. All gatherings will include screenings of The Journey: A Story of Healing and Hope, an AFSP-produced documentary about the suicide loss experience. They will also include screenings of the new follow-up featurette, The Journey Revisited, in which six of the original participants reflect on how their grief and healing journey has evolved three years later.
