Independent Recommendations for Preventing Military Suicide

The Suicide Prevention and Response Independent Review Committee (SPRIRC) has released recommendations for preventing suicide in the U.S. military. The recommendations focus on four areas: (1) restructuring suicide prevention training, (2) helping service members access existing support services, (3) promoting lethal means safety, and (4) emphasizing leadership in addressing service member needs.
