The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is funding a study, led by Dr. Jodi Jacobson Frey of the University of Maryland School of Social Work, to evaluate an online statewide campaign, Healthy Men Michigan. Designed to engage middle-aged Michigan men in online screening and help-seeking to reduce suicidal ideation and behavior, the campaign builds on the best practices of grant partners, Screening for Mental Health and Man Therapy, to deliver gender-specific, web-based mental health services to this hard-to-reach population. The campaign, which launched on September 26, is actively recruiting partner organizations to help with promotion. Click here to learn more.
