The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) has released a brochure on caring for a family member after a suicide attempt. It describes the emergency department treatment process, lists questions to ask about follow-up treatment, and offers tips on how to reduce risk at home. The brochure is also available in Spanish.
