CDC Releases National Data on Suicide Mortality, 1999–2017

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) has released a data brief on suicide mortality in the U.S. from 1999 to 2017. It found that the age-adjusted suicide rate increased 33 percent, from 10.5 to 14.0 per 100,000, in that period.
