CDC Releases Final 2020 Mortality Data

At the end of December, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released final national mortality data for 2020. The data showed that suicide is no longer a top ten leading cause of death, largely due to the toll of COVID-19. Since one year of data cannot demonstrate a trend, comprehensive prevention efforts remain critically important.
