American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) Launches Project 2025 to Reduce Suicide Rate

This project will analyze the latest research and develop a new model to determine which suicide prevention methods will have the greatest impact. It will then develop specific strategies to reduce the suicide rate in collaboration with other suicide prevention and mental health organizations and leaders in other industries. The project is aimed at achieving AFSP’s goal of decreasing the annual suicide rate by 20 percent by 2025.
