The Office of the Surgeon General (OSG) has released Addressing Health Worker Burnout: The U.S. Surgeon General’s Advisory on Building a Thriving Health Workforce. The report calls for a proactive, evidence-based approach to preventing suicide among health workers, including workplace efforts to identify and assist those at risk and increase access to tailored mental health and substance use services.
