A Note from Jerry Reed, Director, SPRC

I am pleased to share with you that Elly Stout will be taking on the role of SPRC director starting September 24, 2017. Elly has served in a leadership role with SPRC for over 10 years, leading our state and community training and technical assistance services, and working with many of you directly to support suicide prevention efforts on the ground. She has also been an important member of our SPRC leadership team and collaborated closely with our funder SAMHSA as well as our many external partners. 

As you know, I will be transitioning to a broader role within the Education Development Center (EDC), leading our overall portfolio of work across injury, violence, and suicide prevention, and I will be working closely with Elly as she transitions to lead the SPRC project. I am confident that Elly brings the experience and skill needed to lead SPRC in advancing our collaborative work with all of you to advance suicide prevention and save lives across the country.
