2020 Suicide Death Data

Suicide Awareness Voices of Education (SAVE) is now offering data sheets and visualizations for 2020 suicide death data on their suicide statistics webpage. Previously housed on the American Association of Suicidology (AAS) website, these analyses are based on the Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) vital statistics and WISQARS data, broken down by state, age, gender, and other population and geographic groupings. The SAVE resources complement CDC’s recent extensive data analyses and reports examining suicide rates and trends that can inform our prevention efforts, SAMHSA’s 2020 National Survey on Drug Use and Health, and SPRC’s data pages.
