Mental Health Coalition Launches Assessment Platform for Employers

A mental health coalition has launched a workplace assessment for employers. The Center for Workplace Mental Health, Mental Health America (MHA), and One Mind at Work developed the online platform, which links employers to tools and best practices for supporting staff mental health. It includes a 20-item survey to help employers assess the health of their organizational culture, access to services and supports, mental health awareness and training, and leadership. “The places where we work affect our overall mental health and well-being,” said MHA President and CEO Paul Gionfriddo. “This assessment will allow everyone—both employers and employees—to understand the impact of their existing programs, define new areas of focus, and ultimately improve how workplaces impact everyone’s mental health.”
