NIMH Funding Opportunities

The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) has released the following funding opportunity announcements:

• Dysregulation and Proximal Risk for Suicide – Companion funding opportunities for an exploratory research grant and a research project grant will support the study of emotion dysregulation and suicide risk. Letters of intent are due January 13, and applications are due February 13.
• Enhancing Suicide Prevention in Emergency Care via Telehealth – This research project grant will fund the development and evaluation of telehealth methods to treat emergency department patients with suicide risk. Letters of intent are due January 10 or September 15, and applications are due February 10 or October 15.
• Addressing Suicide Research Gaps: Understanding Mortality Outcomes – This research project grant will support efforts to link mortality data and health care records to better understand suicide among people seen in health care settings. Letters of intent are due January 10, and applications are due February 10.
