The Veterans Health Administration is hosting a webinar on evidence-based interventions for suicide prevention among veterans with traumatic brain injury (TBI). These interventions have been adapted and evaluated by the Liverpool Brain Injury Rehabilitation Unit and the Rocky Mountain Mental Illness Research, Education, and Clinical Center. Two cognitive behavioral group therapies for veterans with moderate-to-severe TBI and current hopelessness will be presented and the findings will be discussed, in addition to the acceptability and feasibility of delivering these interventions to veterans. The webinar will take place on October 24 at 2 p.m. ET.
