The Department of Health and Human Services’ (HHS) Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) has announced the funding of up to $14.5 million in grants for suicide prevention programs. The grant programs included in this SAMHSA effort are cooperative agreements to implement Zero Suicide and the National Strategy for Suicide Prevention.
