Get ready for the health insurance marketplace

This online toolkit to help behavioral health organizations prepare for open enrollment. It explains the health care law and how it helps people with mental and substance use disorders; outlines how to use the Health Insurance Marketplace; and provides a wealth of communications ideas and materials with a focus on getting the word out to uninsured individuals in communities.There are sections concerning community-based prevention; consumer, family, peer and recovery community organizations; housing support and homeless services; criminal justice and mental health/substance use treatment providers.

Launched in mid-2013, this website serves as a portal for mental health information and help resources.  Its goal is to inform the public, first responders, schools, policymakers, governments, businesses  and communities.  Content is contributed by the CDC, NIH/NIMH and SAMHSA.

New Hampshire Health Data Inventory

The Health Data Inventory is a website that provides information about New Hampshire state health data sources and national health data sources relevant to New Hampshire including: links to the data sets and reports, the dates of the most recent data available, the geographic level of the analysis, and contact information for the office that stewards the data set and/or distributes the report.

Umatter: U Can Get Help

This suicide prevention website has basic information in a youth-friendly format and style and includes a few quizzes and a video. There are separate sections on what to do if you need help, what to do if you’re worried about someone else, and how to feel better.

Partnership for Workplace Mental Health

This website was created by an alliance of the American Psychiatric Association, corporate sponsors and business partners to promote a business case for mental health care. Employer resources include return to work initiatives, evaluation of health care plans, employee education and the impact of mental health issues on the “bottom line”. Employee resources include self-help materials and ways to access care.

NAMI veterans resource center

A webpage that contains online resources for veterans and active duty military members, as well as their families, friends, and advocates on topics like PTSD, mental illness, and obtaining VA benefits.
