The Trevor Project (Trevor) has released the 2024 U.S. National Survey on the Mental Health of LGBTQ+ Young People, which highlights the experiences of more than 18,000 LGBTQ young people ages 13 to 24.

For the sixth year, this annual survey shows a significant association between experiencing anti-LGBTQ+ mistreatment and disproportionately high suicide risk, and that many young people struggle to access mental health care. The survey also shows data-driven ways we can all support LGBTQ+ youth as well as the potentially life-saving benefits of affirming spaces and communities.
