Alison Krompf
Senior Policy Advisor

I became invested in suicide prevention during my early career as a crisis clinician, helping people through some of their most difficult times of mental health crisis. It was then that I learned that human to human connection at the right time can make an incredible difference for a person considering suicide.
I have since moved away from direct service and am hoping to effect change at the policy level in my role at the Department of Mental Health in Vermont, where I am overseeing a grant focused on suicide prevention. I bring a Masters in Clinical Psychology and 9 years of community mental health service to my current role as Senior Policy Advisor.
